A guide only - screens cannot promise true size. The PDF is exact, and the print size check proves it on paper.
EduPacket is free for every classroom. If it saved you some prep time, a coffee helps cover the domain and keeps it that way.

Every classroom has a paper it burns through: the primary-ruled sheet for the writing table, graph paper the week measurement starts, wide ruled for everything else. This mini-pack generates the five papers teachers pair with worksheets, as one clean PDF at exact size. Wide ruled and college ruled use the real school spacings - 8.7 mm and 7.1 mm between lines, the standards pad makers use. Primary ruled comes in true 1 inch sets with a dashed midline, so young writers get the top line, midline and baseline they have been taught to use. Graph paper and dot grid are true 5 mm. Tick the types you need, choose how many copies of each, and the PDF arrives in the order you ticked them. No account, no watermark, and nothing decorative printed in the margins eating your ink.
Which paper for which job
Primary ruled is the beginner's paper: big sets, a dashed midline, and room for letters that are still being formed. It pairs with the name tracing tool - trace first, then write free on matching lines so the guides never change under a child's hand. Wide ruled is the elementary default for drafts, journals and spelling sentences. College ruled fits older elementary writers whose letters have shrunk and whose paragraphs have grown. Graph paper earns its place in math: place value columns stay straight, arrays and area models draw themselves, and bar graphs line up. Dot grid is the quiet all-rounder - handwriting practice with subtler guides, geometric drawing, and game boards children design themselves.
Why exact size is the whole point
A ruled line that prints 10 percent small is not a small problem. On primary paper it changes the letter heights a child has been practising; on graph paper it turns 5 mm squares into something no ruler agrees with. These PDFs are drawn in real physical units for the sheet you pick, Letter or A4, and the spacing is coded from the standard, not eyeballed. The one link we cannot control is your printer dialog: "fit to page" rescales everything silently. Print at Actual size or 100% and the paper on the desk matches the numbers on this page. The print size check takes one page and one ruler to prove your setup is honest.
Questions teachers ask
Why only five papers? Other sites offer hundreds.
Because this pack is built for classrooms, not for paper collectors. The five here cover handwriting, drafting, math and drawing for ages 4 to 10. A library of 200 papers would mostly be a harder menu. If teachers ask for a sixth often enough, it gets added - that is how this list was chosen in the first place.
Can I print just one type, many times?
Yes. Tick one box, set copies to 10, and the PDF is 10 identical sheets. Or skip us for the repeats: print one copy from the PDF and use the photocopier - the master is exact, so the copies stay true.
Is the spacing really the school standard?
Yes, and it is printed in the corner of every sheet: wide ruled 8.7 mm (the 11/32 inch standard), college ruled 7.1 mm (9/32 inch), primary sets exactly 1 inch with the midline at the half inch, graph and dot grids exactly 5 mm. Measure a printed sheet against a ruler and check us.
Does it cost anything or carry a watermark?
No and no. The only thing printed on each sheet besides the lines is one small line of text in the bottom margin: what the paper is, and a short credit - Made with edupacket. Nothing sits in the writing area, and there is no watermark across the page.
